Getting started
Akili is live for invited organizations. Here is how a first session goes.
Sign in Request access
-
Request access
You cannot sign up on your own. Use the Request access button to start an email. The message is filled in for you. If the button does nothing on your computer, write to margaux.armfield@wildlifeprotectionsolutions.org and tell us your name, organization and country, what kind of sensor data you have and roughly how many photos, and whether you have a Wildlife Insights project to bring across.
-
Get your invite
When your access is ready, you receive an invite by email.
-
Sign in
Sign in with the account from your invite.
-
Install Akili Transfer (optional)
Akili Transfer is a desktop app for large folders of photos. You can also upload from the website, but using the Transfer app is much faster. After you sign in, download it from the Akili Transfer page.
-
Upload your photos
Choose the project and deployment your photos belong to, then pick a folder. Uploading sends your photos to Akili. Importing then registers them. These are two separate steps.
-
Run AI
AI Processing runs detection and classification over your imported photos.
-
Review
Open Review to look through your photos and check what the AI suggested.
-
Export your results
When you finish reviewing, export your data as Camtrap DP or as a Wildlife Insights bulk upload. If an export has too many images to download in your browser, use Akili Transfer.
For full step-by-step instructions, read the Akili User Guide (PDF).
